According to the decision of the Republic of Estonia, visas are not issued for participants from Belarus and Russia.

The discounted fee applies to participants whose country of affiliation (not residence) is one of the following: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Montenegro, Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey or Ukraine.

*  The PhD workshop fee includes participation in the workshop, accommodation for 3 nights, mid-day meals (4 days), social programme; participation in the Congress and Welcome Reception; Congress Dinner with a discount; transport from Narva to Tartu (if you go on the joint bus on July 23, more info on the homepage).
!!! You do not need to register for the Congress separately, PhD workshop registration fee already includes participation in the Congress.

* The mobile workshop is free of charge for registered delegates. The groups are limited in size and are available on the first come, first served principle.

* The accompanying person fee includes the congress badge, access to the sponsorship exhibition and publication fair, the Welcome Reception, the mobile workshop, congress catering, a city tour, a museum visit and the opportunity to join the Congress Dinner for a fee.

* Online participation: upon submitting an abstract, it was possible for the authors to note whether they wish to present online or on-site. The online presentations will be joined into online sessions and it will be possible to watch these online. At the venue, there will be one room where it will be possible to watch the online sessions on a big screen. From the venue, there is no broadcast of other sessions, except for the keynote sessions (available online at an extra fee). Those participating on-site can also watch the online sessions on their own devices free of charge.

An official Letter of Invitation to obtain a Visa and authorisation to attend the AESOP 2022 in Tartu, Estonia will be issued ONLY after a completed registration form, hotel booking and full payment have been received. Letters of Invitation will not be issued to parties who have not registered and paid in full. 

All Letters of Invitation will be issued at the discretion of the Congress organisers. All expenses incurred in relation to the delegate’s attendance at the Congress are the sole responsibility of the delegate and the Congress organisers hold no responsibility for the outcome of an individual’s visa application.

In case of visa refusal, we will refund the registration fee if we receive the proof of refusal one month before the Congress at the latest.
